U10.5 football is for players in P5 and P6 who are born between 1st July 2008 and 30th June 2010. Our head coach for boys football is Aidan Shields. New players are always welcome. You can make contact to the club directly or just come to any Monday night training session.
2019 Season Schedule (Boys)
U10.5 players participate in Club Training every Monday night (from April), Go Games Football, Friendly Games and Club Hosted Tournaments. Our focus is on player skill development and providing as much football for each player as possible.
Go Games
Go Games are hosted by clubs in rotation on a Saturday morning, usually from 10:30am – 12 noon. There are around 10 Go Games events scheduled and Donaghmore will host a few of these events. All players will have full participation in each Go Games event.
Club Hosted Tournaments
We also aim to attend a number of Tournaments over the season. These tournaments provide more competitive football for our players and they are an opportunity to advance skills as well as have fun. As tournaments have stricter rules, we can generally only take selected teams to each tournament. A lot of tournaments are now two team tournaments, which means we can invite everyone but for those one team tournaments we do aim to spread the invites so everyone has the same opportunity.
Players will need a packed lunch for tournaments as they tend to be a full day events. This is typically from 9am – 3pm. We will end the season at our own Francie Donnelly Tournament which has been a very successful day over the past few years.

Parental Support
Games for your children are only successful with your support. We appreciate any and all help you provide. We will also need help in the following ways:
- Transport to games
- Helping with hospitality when hosting events by providing some sandwiches and help with making and serving of tea and coffee.
