As part of the launch of our new webpage, we want news of anything and everything that moves in Donaghmore St. Patrick’s GAA club and its environs – be it football, local news, shindigs or shenanigans. This is a website for the Donaghmore community and we want everyone to be part of our great club. Our crack-team of voluteers are working flat out on creating this fantastic new website and keeping it up to date – look out for the live twitter feed at each match for example – but much as we would like to be able to dash out report after cracking report, there are so only so many hours of the day and this is where you come in: to take on the Clark Kent and Lois Lane challenge! So whether you are 7 or 70, down the road or far away, a dedicated die-hard or a fair-weather supporter, we want YOU to contribute to our new web page. This is your opportunity to see your name in lights (or at least, on a lighted screen 🙂 )!
We are looking for reports on anything newsworthy for our club, such as:
- match reports – the more the better;
- interviews;
- photographs;
- analysis
- regular column contributions;
- club history;
- events, social dates;
- general club news.
But this is not an exclusive list – anything relevant to the club will be gladly welcomed.
You need not be an IT whiz to do this – if you can create an MS word document and email it to us, we will take care of the rest. If you are a novice to writing, we are happy to help craft your story, but if you are a seasoned reporter with the most lyrical of tongues, we will be only delighted to receive your work of art. The main aim of the game is to keep everyone up to date on the goings-on in our club so nobody misses out and, if you so wish, to allow you to plan your social calendar around St Patrick’s 🙂
All contributions to be sent to info@donaghmoregaa.ie, or fill in the contact form on our website.
So let’s get going – get tapping and clicking! C’mon Donaghmore!!
