Adult Football: The Reserve team defeated Dromore with a superb Aidan Mc Cluskey goal making the difference, to maintain their strong start to the season. In the senior game a late goal turned the tide in Dromores favour, despite a courageous Donaghmore performance which had them leading for much of the game. Final score: 0 12 to 1 13.

Ladies Minor Team

The Ladies Minor team played Coalisland in the championship on Monday 15th April. After a poor 1st half performance the girls gradually began to play the football they are capable off and from being 12 down they edged in front with Five minutes to play. Coalisland got a goal on the break shortly after and despite a great effort the girls couldn’t get the scores to merit the draw they deserved. Final score D’more 1-16 Coalisland 4-8!

Senior and Reserve

The Senior and Reserve league are set to commence this weekend with away fixtures to Errigal Ciaran. Throw in times are 2.15pm for the Reserves & 3.45pm for the Senior Game. Good luck to both teams

Seniors back training

The seniors have been back training from the start of Feb and under the guidance of Adrian, Fergal and Dixie the pre season programme has went well. Numbers have been good from the outset and the team have been training and playing well to date. So far we have a few Friendlies with, Marherafelt, Maghrey, Loup and Armagh Harps and the mixture of youth and experience has us all in good spirits for the coming season which is due to commence on 21st April.

Picture No1: The senior team pictured before the game with Armagh Harps.

Picture No2:  Judge for yourself!! Paul Mc Cann tries in vain to stop the ball crossing the line. As it was a friendly we kindly allowed the goal to stand but come the competitive games I don’t think either of our 2 x umpires will be rushing for the green flag in a hurry

Picture No3: Cushy and Logie have put in a tremendous effort this past 2 years and hopefully our upward trend in performances and results can continue into 2013.

Picture No4: Dixie sporting our club colours and looking rather happy despite the cold conditions. Dixie is in his second year with the Pats and has both the seniors and reserves in great condition for this time of year.

Under 14 Boys

Our under 14 Boys recorded their first win of 2013 with a comprehensive victory over Derrylaughan on Saturday past. The boys played well from start to finish and they really showed the benefit of the many sessions they have had before the league commenced. The management of Chris Faloon, Conor McKeown and Collie Mc Nally had put in a lot of effort and have got the boys playing a good level of football for so early in the season. Hopefully the boys will continue to improve and the positive results keep coming.

Cultural Night on Wednesday 27th March 2013

See all the pictures from Cultural Night held at the club Wednesday 27th March 2013.  A great crowd attended this Traditional session and it proved to be a very successful night for both the young musicians and for the adults and children in attendance. We hope to continue with these traditional sessions on a more regular basis.  We will keep you updated with more pictures and highlights of the evenings as and when they happen.
